2022 Reflection with Tony

With 2022 coming to close, it’s time to reflect back on what turned out to be a banner second year for us at Kambujaya.

Like most real estate developers, it was a challenging year for sales, but we were fortunate to sell out 60% of our units. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the support and faith given to us by the homeowners. Thank you for entrusting us with your home and welcome to the Kambujaya community!

As we wrap up our inaugural project, I’d like to take a moment to thank all the talented and hardworking people who’ve contributed "different pieces to the puzzle” that was Kambujaya Residences. We wouldn’t have been able to pull this off without your steadfast commitment — THANK YOU!

Our high points of the year were winning 5 awards at the PropertyGuru Cambodia Awards and capping it off with 2 more awards at the Asia Regional Grand Finale in Bangkok — including Best Breakthrough Developer in Asia. I was extremely proud and honored to represent Kambujaya/Cambodia on the international stage among other developers from 13 different markets in Asia.

Looking forward to 2023, Kambujaya remains focused on contributing and providing a positive impact to the industry through our work. We will continue to delve into more lifestyle developments that go beyond residential development. As developers, we have a responsibility to collectively create, innovate, build better, and give back to our communities — if we are going to help shape a better future for Cambodia. The scale of the problem and the challenge is immense, but the opportunity/reward for sustainable development will be much greater.

Developers should be using this time to re-evaluate their values and re-think how to best position their companies for a market that is evolving and demanding higher quality and better design. This transition will require more innovation and imagination with developers needing to be more bolder and flexible to create better value for not only the marketplace but also our society.

Kambujaya is looking forward to more collaboration and knowledge sharing in 2023. Here’s to another year of growing, learning, and building together!
